Sparkapolooza – I love this idea. The editors of the blog set a brief and a deadline. The idea is to get the creative juices flowing. All you have to do is respond creatively and submit an original creation before the deadline. It can be anything.

Professional development seminars are advertised and offered. National Association for the Visual Arts (NAVA) advocacy, advice and resources for the visual arts. The site also has artist gallery facilities to create a gallery of your artwork. Excellent information provided on opportunities for artists including grants and prizes for artists.

ArtistCareer – affiliated with NAVA this site provides professional development information and advice. An excellent collection of material to assist running your art practice. By subscribing you will hear about professional development seminars run by NAVA.
